A family run company founded in 1947. Over the last 60 years Clement Dickens has become a leading name on the Fylde Coast, providing a comprehensive and professional building service to a wide range of industrial, commercial and public clients.

The Company started out off the back of a hand cart as ‘Dickens & Brown’, from where Clement Dickens worked as a master Craftsman laying bricks. Due to a hard-working reputation, the Company developed and became established at Dorset Avenue in Cleveleys, Lancashire, and in 1977 moved to its present location at Red Marsh Estate where it employs its fourth generation and a workforce of more than 100 skilled and experienced trades-men and women.

Today Clement Dickens prides itself on quickly becoming an indispensable part of the building operations it undertakes through a combination of in-depth planning, up-to-date building techniques and traditional values. This is evident in the Company’s frequent participation in the highly competitive field of Local Authority work throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.
